Operation timed out = server not responding; you probably had the bad luck of trying to browse it just when Hostboard.com was overloaded or down for maintenance.

Miguel, do you know about some kinda virus or spyware that attacks suddenly, and it damages the C:\windows\system32\config\system file? That happenned yesterday, the PC was okay, then it freezed. Than after I restarted, it wrote out that message: That file is not found or damaged, and try to correct it. Ofcourse, that failed, so I quickly reinstalled windows, but it still bothers me, what could cause that. Any ideas Anyone?

C:\windows\system32\config\system is part of the Windows registry. It shouldn't be easily corrompible. There may be malware (viruses and trojans in this case) that mess with it, but this is the first time I heard of this file getting corrupted like that.

In any case, there are backup copies of it. If the System file is corrupt and it won't boot, boot the Windows install CD, enter repair mode, and use the recovery console to copy the file C:\windows\system32\config\system.alt over the C:\windows\system32\config\system file in that directory, and if that doesn't work, try with the C:\windows\repair\system file.

Well, in everything, the weirdest things happen with me. Yeah, it was unable to boot, but there was no option to repair it, that1s what I was looking for too. I put it into my moms PC as secondary HDD, but still I could not do nothing.
